Great for Games; Get the Antenna Headphones
I have been a devoted XM subscriber/lover for several years because of the satellite radio that came with my car. When XM added SEC football to their sports line-up, I knew I just had to get a portable so that I could use it at the stadium every Saturday to get all the other games. To that end, I could not be any happier with this product. It is very small and light (about like the average cell phone). You ABSOLUTELY need to get the antenna headphones in order to get a good steady signal. In fact, it is so much of a “must” that Pioneer really should include it with the other accessories it comes with. Nevertheless, I have not found the headphones to be as uncomfortable as others seem to, they feel just fine and are light. With them, I get great reception at the stadium. In addition to being able to listen to other games going on around the conference, this handy little device has a “sports ticker” that gives me fast updates of other games going on. (Much faster updates than the stadium gives out on the jumbotron). This little baby really enhances my gameday experience. If you are considering getting it for that purpose, DO IT.
Inno Is Great
If you want a multi-function, portable XM player, this is the one. It is easy to operate and the recording feature is beautiful. I was surprised to see it record at the set time even when shut off. I purchased the car kit, but was surprised to see it functional in my auto by replacing the Roady dock with the Inno dock without doing anything else. This is handy, since I want to install the Roady in my wife’s car. I like the screen colors for each station and the adjusment from vertical to horizontal alignment when using it in the car. The case it comes with is very useable once you get the snaps aligned correctly. One negative feature that I was not aware of, it cannot play through an FM radio unless using the home kit attachement. Buy it, enjoy!
Good little portable
I picked this up two weeks ago at Best Buy. It was on sale for $200.00. I was going to buy on Amazon but was not sure on the sellers. Great radio. First satellite radio I have bought. I am using Sennheiser PX 100 headphones with it that I bought on Amazon and the sound just blows me away. Reception on the road is OK. I loose the signal on overpasses and if I go low into the ground or get behind an obstruction. But that is were the recorded content comes into play. Just switch over. I was going to buy the Belkin headphones but all the reviews say they are junk so I will wait on that until something better comes out. At home and in the car receiption is good. Very happy with radio.
